It's known that Mahi Raghav of 'Anando Brahma' fame is currently writing YS Rajasekhar Reddy's biopic.  Malayalam star Mammootty will essay the role of the late Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh.

The makers have on Friday released the film's logo poster.  Titled 'Yatra', it will be shot from April 9.  "I am stepping out from Kadapa to meet you all at your doorsteps ('Gadapa').  I want to walk with you.

I want to listen to your heartbeat," YSR famously said before he took up the historic 'Pada Yatra' in the run-up to the 2004 polls.  "He wanted to leave a footprint in history.  Instead, he left one in the hearts of people," says the logo poster.  

The film will be bankrolled by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy.
