“The lead character of ‘18 Vayasu’ comes from a forest. So whenever he sees an animal, he would start behaving like it, both mentally and physically. The film is going to be a totally new experience for the audience,” says director Panneerselvam.

After making his presence felt in ‘Renigunta’, Panneerselvam is back to wield the megaphone for ’18 Vayasu’, with the same Johnny playing the lead role. “The Johnny you saw in ‘Renigunta’ is just a trailer,” he says.

“I can summaries the film by saying that it is a psycho thriller. But it is even more than that,” says Panneerselvam, adding: “We shot the entire film in a jungle since the script is about the protagonist’s search for love, care, affection and also for the forest he missed.”

A newcomer Gayathri is playing the female lead. “Both Johnny and Gayathri share a good chemistry and it is visible while shooting some important scenes. They are pure professionals,” Panneerselvam further says.
