Though songs are part of a movie, it would be beautiful if they have a story within. Not many filmmakers had tried this in the past and Prabhu Deva has done it in ‘Engeyum Kadhal’.

“With the director himself being an ace choreographer, he understands the value of songs. So he wanted to tell a story in all the seven numbers composed by Harris Jayaraj,” a source tells us.

“We worked on several storyboards and the director finally zeroed in on seven, one for each song. Cinemetograph Nirav Shah has given life to the numbers with his beautiful work,” adds the source.

Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram of AGS Entertainment, ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ has ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Hansika Motwani in lead roles. “It is a beautiful love story which would be celebrated by youngsters.”
