Change in name from Mimoh to Mahakshay has not just resulted in a different identity for the young man, it has also resulted in a renewed confidence that he has in him today. Leaving behind the ghosts of 'Jimmy' behind and looking forward to his haunted tale 'Haunted', he is happy to describe it as one of the most original flicks in this genre. Not just that, he also claims that the film leaves behind many clichés associated with horror films, most notably being an element of gore as well as women who are expected to be strutting around in their bare minimums.

"I can give this to you in writing that 'Haunted' is the next generation of horror for Bollywood. People who have seen the film are totally mesmerised by the visuals as well as the drama that unfolds along with the horror elements which strikes you from nowhere", says Mahakshay who has gone through an extreme physical transformation for his role in the film.

Since both technology (3D) as well as the actors were new in 'Haunted', Mahakshay admits that Vikram was quite patient during the making of the film.

"I remember how during the initial days I was just not getting it right and was giving retake after retake", confesses Mahakshay, "Thankfully Vikram understood the pressure I was in and allowed me to open up as an actor. It was by the eighth or the ninth day that I could really get a hang of technology as well as myself. After that Viki sir as well as I understood exactly what he wanted. We gelled well together and I could afford many one take shots from there."

'Haunted' releases all over this Friday.
