While it was Aditya Roy Kapoor who successful swept audience off their feet as the melancholic lover boy with the superhit ‘Aashiqui 2’, it will be ‘Jackpot’ hero Sachiin Joshi to repeat the performance for the Telugu movie buffs.

Yes, the blockbuster hit romantic saga ‘Aashiqui 2’ is being remade in Telugu by producer Bandla Ganesh. He will be co-producing it with Sachiin, under the actor’s home banner Viking Media Production. Incidentally the ‘Aazaan’ famed actor is popular in Tollywood for films like ‘Mounamelanoyi’ and ‘Orey Pandu’.

Confirming this, Sachiin recently had thanked the Telugu producer on his micro-blogging site, thus, "Thanks to Bandla Ganesh for offering me Aashiqui 2 remake in Telugu. You are a true friend." While Bandla said that he will be merely supervising the project while Sachiin will be producing it.
