Straight films:

This month saw the second innings of many younger Telugu heroes such as Uday Kiran, Tarun and Nitin. While both Nitin and Uday Kiran failed to generate interest, Tarun got critical acclaim, though his film didn’t do well.

He also landed some plum offers, thanks to 'Nava Vasantham'.

But the show stealer was Allari Naresh, whose 'Seema Sastry' stared off on a slow note, but caught pace as days went by. Finally, Naresh could say he has precise gut instinct.
