“Ai” is becoming the talk of the town, with already filmy buff`s calling it a phenomenon. When it comes to songs, Shankar is the master of its architecture and taking into minute details is what makes him the master film maker. Lyricist Kabilan has penned three songs for this film, and putting his head to thoughts the poet has written one of the songs whilst flying in the plane, and another in the beautiful scenic drench of Kodaikanal.

Kabilan`s best work did come in Boys with “Ale Ale”, “Boom Boom” with Shankar and this time with three songs under his kitty, it will be interesting to see how it pans out. The music is by AR Rahman and for one of the songs, music composer Anirudh has crooned as well.
