Though A Venkatesh is popular for high voltage masala movies, his aim is to make a realistic film, that too with newcomers playing the lead roles. “I am working towards fulfilling my dream,” the director says.

Venkatesh, who is currently working with Arjun for ‘Vallakottai’, says, “Hopefully my next directorial venture would feature all newcomers. I want to take it as a challenge and introduce fresh and talented youngsters to the industry.”

Throwing light on the film, he says, “the movie would have no glamour, action or grandeur. It would be a realistic portrayal of four youth, whom I came across in my life. It is a dream project, which I wish to do before I hang my boots”.

Happy about winning accolades for his acting performance in ‘Angadi Theru’, Venkatesh says, “When Vasantha Balan wanted me to act in ‘Angadi Theru’, I was reluctant for my hands were full then. But he insisted that I should do the role. After working for a week, I understood that it is no ordinary film and my role would make it big.”
