Husband arrested in connection with actress suicide

Bidisha Bezbaruah and Assamese singer,actress and television personality was found dead at her Gurguram apartment where she had apparently hanged herself to death. The cops have arrested her husband Nisheet Jha under abetment to suicide.

Bidisha whose last film was the recently released Jagaa Jasoos` had called her father before taking the extreme step and the family had informed the police that the husband was having an extramarital affair which had deeply hurt the young girl. It is reported that the Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has spoken to his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar seeking a proper probe into the death.
