Aditya Roy Kapur is a disappointed actor because his much anticipated film produced under the esteemed Yash Raj banner, DAAWAT-E-ISHQ co-starring the talented and popular actress Parineeti Chopra, has proved a dud at the box office, making the actor let down.
Readers would be rather stunned to read that frustrated at the failure of the movie the actor has allegedly blamed its film producer Aditya Chopra for the film`s failure. According to a reliable source Aditya Roy Kapur had apprehension doing the role of the Muslim Lucknowi chef's role in the movie. He felt that he won`t be able to do justice to the character. Hence when Aditya Chopra had offered him the role, Aditya Roy Kapur had expressed his reluctance but on Adi Chopra`s insistence, the actor had nodded.
Now that film has been discarded by the audience and proved a disaster at box office it`s believed that Aditya Roy Kapur is accusing Aditya Chopra as the chief culprit behind the movie`s failure.
Disheartened Aditya Roy Kapur has reportedly said, "Adi Chopra is one producer who does not like to listen No`. Hence nobody dares to challenge Adi but in my case I had expressed my reservations but Adi convinced me to do the role and today I am repenting."
Aditya Roy Kapur has been struggling to make his presence felt in Bollywood since 2009 when he made his debut playing a minor role in LONDON DREAMS and followed it with minor roles in ACTION REPLAYY (2010) and GUZAARISH (2010). However all the three big budget movie proved flops and Aditya Roy Kapur could make his mark as an actor in Bollywood.
However with AASHIQUI 2 (2013) and YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI (2013) alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, eventually gave him success but with DAAWAT-E-ISHQ`s failure the actor is back in the dock!
