With the Sena doing a U-turn and backing off from their words, advance in multiplexes in Mumbai of the SRK-Kajol starrer, ‘MNIK’ has been halted till reports last came in.

A group of Shivsaniks had protested violently in some part of Mumbai forcing theatre owners in the B-town to stop the advance bookings. Anyhow, the state CM Mr. Chauhan and Mr. Roy the police chief of Mumbai has assured full protection and forces have been employed in theatres across Mumbai where the movie is screened.

Security of SRK, Karan Johar and Kajol has been increased, there is an indication that the advance might open late today if there is no disturbance by the Sena men.

The police had made arrest regarding this matter and everybody is hoping that a peaceful release takes place. On the other hand Delhi has responded well to the SRK-Kajol starrer.

Most cinema halls and multiplex chains had opened their ticket windows and are receiving positive response ever since Monday.

According to reports, tickets till Sunday for the entire weekend in the Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region) has been sold.
