He’s done it all, and with this the legendary icon has yet again proved his all-rounder tag….

Amitabh Bachchan rendered his voice for a pure classical song, something that’s first time for the star and also a kind of song attempted only by professionals.

Composed by Aadesh Shrivastava, the song 'Dhara Gagan Chahe' was on the lines of Raga Basant, which involves a complex intricate and high-pitched tune. But much to the surprise of Shrivastava, the veteran actor sung out the number quite effortlessly after few rehearsals.

Recalling the incident, the music director said, "His energy level is beyond inspiring. I must admit I made the Raga mass-friendly for Amitji just as I've done for Ranbir's song 'More Piya Mose' in Raajneeti. But still Raga Basant isn't easy for even seasoned classical vocalists."

Earlier Ranbir was offered to sing a similar raga-based song “More Piya Mose” for ‘Raajneeti’, but the actor was apprehensive and turned down the track.

Incidentally after serious rehearsals and tiring recording of the song, Big B was energetically on his toes for a photo shoot after the song was done; which impressed Aadesh highly. He found it inspiring from someone like the actor who is as old as 67 years. Besides, after all these work, the star flew off to Gujarat to do promotional shooting for tourism.
