He looks tall, rugged and handsome. He speaks with an accent. With a MBA background, he looks somebody from the Dalal Street brigade than an up and coming hero.

But Ramesh, the young hero in question, finds his own stock on the rise after Vidhyarthi.

Though the film is still to be classified a hit, this handsome hulk of a hero is already in demand. Son of producer R B Choudary, Ramesh did not exactly aspire to be in films.

"It is all through happenstance that I am before you as an actor. I was actually prepared for a career in the corporate sector," he says unassumingly.

But Ramesh is still not sure of having arrived. "It all depends on how it (Vidhyarthi) goes. So far the response has been positive".

He says he enjoyed being an actor. "I loved every minute of it. The challenge of performing in front of the camera was very good. I also liked the student's character in Vidhyarthi".

What next for him? A Tamil movie to be followed by a Telugu one January.

If nothing works, the MBA is always there.
