A beautiful scenic and quite locale, popular hill station Darjeeling turned out to be one hectic choice of destination for the team of ‘Barfee’. They had planned a month long shooting schedule in this serene place but it proved to be too noisy and sans privacy to shoot.

The team including director Anurag Basu, cast Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz were shooting few prominent scenes of ‘Barfee’ in Darjeeling when they were disturbed by public and at one point of time the crowd around said to have turned unmanageable.

The team were troubled so much that they even considered leaving the place and returning to Mumbai. They were supposed to leave by the end of this month but then changed their plans and instead shot in different place nearby called Tindharia, according to sources.

Meanwhile other sources claimed that the problems have been sorted out now and both Ranbir and Ileana shot for the movie recently.

'Barfee' is being co-produced by Anurag’s banner Ishaana Movies and Siddharth Roy Kapoor’s UTV. The story revolves around a deaf-and-mute boy (Ranbir) who comes across a mildly autistic girl (Priyanka Chopra) and Ileana.
