From the beginning of her career, at a tender age of 15 itself, Bhavana has been a favourite choice for gossip mongers from making out stories out of thin air. One of the most repeated rumours was that she had an abortion, about which Bhavana has opened in a recent interview to a popular Malayalam magazine.

The disappointed actress said that every year at least 10 reports come up stating that she went to various places such as America, Thrissur, Aluva, etc. She also added that there were stories about her having a relationship with a director.

Bhavana remarked that the gossip mongers did not spare atleast by considering her age that she was only 16 years then. The actress also questioned that if the gossipers would spread such falsehood if it was about anyone in their own family.

Bhavana who is not ready to give up also added that she is not willing to get defeated! Way to go Bhavana!

On the work front, Bhavana wrapped up her portions for the first schedule of her upcoming Malayalam movie Adam Joan, starring Prithviraj and Narain in the lead roles. She is now busy shooting for Tagaru, a Kannada movie starring Shivaraj Kumar in the lead. Apart from all this, Bhavana will be essaying the female lead in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam superhit Charlie, in which she will be reprising Parvathy's character.
