Producer's bold decision saves 'Taramani' from Censor cuts

Director Ram's previous film 'Thangameenkal'won the National Award for the Best Tamil Film and the Best Child Artist. Now he is ready with an Adult subject 'Taramani', delving on the love lives of IT company employees and their insecurities. The film scheduled to hit the screens on August 11 2017,comes with an Adults Only certificate.

In a recent audio release function, director Ram revealed that the Censor Board said that they will give a U/A certificate if the 14 cuts suggested by them were implemented. But J.S.Sathish Kumar of JSK Films Corporation who has acquired the project refused to go for the cuts as it will dilute the subject and went for a A certificate.

In the same event Ram also said that the film is only for adults.

'Taramani' stars Andrea Jeremiah and debutant Vasanth Ravi in lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has provided the music score for the film.
