Director Bala has heaped praises on director Cheran after watching a special premiere of the latter's Thavamai Thavamirundu, which is slated for release on Deepavali day.

The emotional movie featuring Cheran, Padmapriya and Rajkiran is written and directed by Cheran. 

Impressed with the screenplay and storyline, Bala has reportedly heaped accolades on Cheran.

It may be recalled that Bala taking part in a function recently said Cheran deserved a national award for his directorial work in Autograph.

Unfortunately he missed it this year. But he would certainly win the award soon, Bala  said.

Hope it becomes a reality with Thavamai Thavamirundu.
