Yuvan Shankar Raja spent 11 months perfecting each and every song. SP Balasubramanyam, Shankar Mahadevan, Chitra, Anoushka, Vijay Yesudas, Tippu, Karthik, Hari Charan, Ranjith, Sabesh, Gaana Ulaganathan, Comedian Karunas, Gaana Pazhani, Prem Gi, SP Charan, Venkat Prabhu, DJ Sathiya, SilveSTAR & Yuvan himself have sung in this film's soundtrack. The outstanding vocal ensemble has created a huge expectation for the audio. Chennai 600028 would definitely be the best commercial hit of 2007.
