The most honorable Swaralaya Kairali Yesudas award is being presented to veteran music director MS Viswanathan and popular Bollywood singer Kavita Krishnamoorthy. The nominees have been short listed based on their contributions to music.

State Minister for Culture and Education and jury chairman, M.A. Baby who announced the awards yesterday told the reporters that Ms. Krishnamoorthy and Mr. Viswanathan were unanimously selected by the jury on the basis of the maximum nominations from music lovers. The award will be presented later in a function organised by Swaralaya at the capital city.

The nominees are a niche for the award and it's an honorable notion for these awardees whose contribution to music has made a big difference.
