After Priyanka Chopra and Priyanka Trivedi, one more Priyanka is entering Tamil cinema. She is Kannada actress Priyanka Chandira, who made an impact in Sandalwood with films like ‘Seena’, ‘Maharishi’ and ‘10th Class’,

The actress has been keen on doing a Tamil film. With ‘Kalloori Kalangal’, her long wait now comes to end. The movie directed by M A Romoshiva features newcomer Sukumar in the lead.

Says the director, “After a search for a girl who could suit the script, we zeroed in on Priyanka Chandira. She is a bundle of talent”. On the movie, he says, “It is a movie with a strong message for lovers and their parents. We have tried to adopt a different approach in screenplay.”

A cell phone plays an important character in the film that connects the lover-couple, he says and adds, “A technically rich movie, I hope ‘Kalloori Kalangal’ will woo the audience”. The music has been scored by Rajesh Ramalingam who composed tunes for the recent release ‘Madhavi’.

Produced by T Vasudevan, A Sridhar and P Gireesh, the movie being shot in Yercaud, Erode and Hyderabad. The song sequences will be shot in Malaysia.
