Director-turned-producer Lingusamy maiden production venture titled Deepavali will bring together big names in the industry like director Ezhil, music-composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and actors Jeyam Ravi and Bhavana.

Addressing media persons on Thursday, Lingusamy said, 'I was tense in my directorial venture (Anandham). Thanks to the experience, I am confident of tasting success as a producer. I know I can bank on a talented cast and crew.'

Lingusamy was all praise of Ezhil. 'I was highly impressed of his screenplay in Thullatha Manamum Thullum. I am sure that he will repeat his magic.'

Thanking Lingusamy for the opportunity, Ezhil, said, 'The story was conceived almost a year ago. I should thank Lingusamy for keeping faith in me and given me the opportunity to direct this movie'.

Jeyam Ravi said, 'Ezhil is one of the most reliable directors, who gives quality films and I am elated to be part of his movie'.

Bhavana said, 'When I decided to test the waters in Tamil, not many were inclined to give me an extended run in the hero-oriented industry. But it has been a smooth sail thanks to Almighty.'
