Actress Charmi started her career in filmdom with Vijaya T Rajendher's Kadhal Azhivathillai. She followed it up with films like Aha Ethanai Azhagu and Kadhal Kisu Kisu. However Charmy ventured to do Telugu movies and managed to hit the bulls eye. She emerged the top heroine in the neighbouring State.
After a long gap, she is brought back to Tamil cinema by director Prabhu Solomon.
The director for his next venture Laadam has cast Charmi as heroine.
A newcomer Aravindhan plays the hero. The movie is produced by Chozha Creations.
A thrilled Charmi says, ÂThough I managed to make it big in Telugu films, my desire was always to act in Tamil films. When Solomon approached me, I agreed to it without any hesitationÂ.
