'Sonali Cable', written and directed by Charudutt Acharya, is slated for an October 10, 2014 release.

The film is produced by Ramesh Sippy, Rohan Sippy, Roopa de Choudhury and Kamia Mulhotra under the banner of Ramesh Sippy Entertainment in association with BombayMania Production Pvt. Ltd. and is a PVR Pictures release.

'Sonali Cable', starring Rhea Chakraborty, Ali Fazal, Anupam Kher, Raghav Juyal, Swanand Kirkire and Smita Jaykar, is a classic David vs Goliath story set in the underbelly of the broadband war in Mumbai. It is a character driven, edgy survival drama of a spunky young girl from Mumbai, Sonali who puts her love, life and survival at stake when she and her ragtag family of internet cable technicians come in the way of the expansion plans of India`s largest corporation. For them Sonali Cable is more than a livelihood. It is their home and they will fight to the finish to save it!
