Chithiram Pesudhadi to be remade

The blockbuster Tamil hit of 2006, Chithiram Pesudhadi is now going places. The movie which was directed by debutant Mysskin is now being remade in Kannada and Malayalam now.

The Telugu version is being produced by Mohan Babu and features his son Manoj in the lead role. Yuvanshankar Raja would be scoring the music for the movie.

Remember actress Sheela? She made her debut in Ilavattam opposite Navdeep. She dons the role enacted by Bhavana in the Tamil version.

Surya Kiran (director of the Telugu superhit Sathyam and husband of actress Kaveri) is wielding the megaphone for the movie. Buzz is that director Mysskin was initially approached to do the movie in Telugu. However, he denied the offer.
