Even after seven weeks from its release, Shafi’s ‘Chocolate’ leads the top of the list.

The top five movies of the week are

1. 'Chocolate': Shafi's Ramzan offering is a winner in all terms. Prithviraj has got another big hit after last years ‘Classmates'. The film has amassed more than nine crores from its forty day run and is still the favorite among the masses who schedule the film for repeat viewing. The songs of the film have also become a hit. The film has collected more than one and a half crores from the three main centres of the state.

2. 'Rock N Roll': Mohanlal's fun ride directed by Renjith has mixed responses and that is only reason the film is not at the top as is the case of openings of the other Lal films. If marketed well the film may prove to become a winner.

3. 'Om Shanthi Om': Shahrukh's Diwali bonanza is the favorite which out numbered the other Malayalam films to capture the number three slot. The film is registering eighty percent in all the major centres of the state.

4. 'Ayur Rekha': The Sreenivasan starrer has the good word of mouth and is slowly emerging a winner, but the lack of publicity will affect the film's prospects.

5. 'Nasrani': Mammootty's Ramzan flick just manages to be in the list. But will prove a profit maker for the distributors for its good opening. And within a week the film will celebrate fifty days and will vanish from the sub centres of the state, where the film registers as low as thirty percent collections.
