'Commando 2' salutes real life commandos

Vipul Shah who is particularly close to his action-franchise 'Commando', has raised the bar for 'Commando 2'. The prequel has already established the kind of mettle Vidyut Jammwal is made of, especially when it comes to performing stunts.

Shah doffs his hat to the soldiers at the border who recently took part in a surgical strike and completed the mission entrusted to them. "My film is about commandos and their indefatigable spirit," says the maker.

While Vidyut went to the border to interact with the men in uniform, Vipul is keen to hold a screening for the real life heroes. The makers aim to go to the next level with the sequel.

'Commando 2' is slated to release on 3rd March, 2017.
