Now that Dhanush is getting ready to direct his maiden directorial venture, that too in Hindi, the National Award winning actor is impressing big time the top guns of Bollywood. Already popular as the son-in-law of Superstar Rajinikanth, Dhanush is now going great guns thanks to "Why this kolaveri di..."

At a recent awards function, Dhanush remixed the hit song from '3' and sang it in praise of Amitabh Bachchan. The Big B of Bollywood, who is a close friend of Rajini, is so happy, that he praised the young actor on his blog post.

"And... when complete Entertainer announced, Dhanush sings live from audience, a 'Kolaveri Di' number, but words to suit the occasion!! Dhanush's words were 'Why this Kolaveri, Kolaveri, Kolaveri... B... big B... TRP'. Brilliant absolutely!! So lovable and so good!" wrote Amitabh.

The event, the BIG Star Entertainment Awards, was held on Sunday. Amitabh received two awards. "Oh dear me lots of things to say... just back from Big Star Entertainment Awards and... they gave me two awards... best actor in social role for Aarakshan and the second for the Complete Entertainer of the year... I am blessed!!" the Big B posted.
