Excel Entertainment heads Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have prioritized safety of women in their own small way.

Currently, the banner's upcoming venture, 'Dil Dhadakne Do', is in their Bombay shooting schedule. Since, on some days, their shoot would go beyond 10.30 pm, the producers made arrangements for cars to drop their female crew back home. On any day, if they pack up late, they ensure that the women/girls on the set are given cars to be dropped home safely. In fact we were told that they have arranged for cars and trusted drivers who have been with them for some time now to drop the female cast and crew home at odd hours.

Confirmed Farhan, "If we pack up later than 10.30 pm there are cars on set so everybody reaches home safely. We ensure the girls and their families are not worried about their ride back home. It is important to take necessary safety measures at an individual level."

In this way, they are assured that there is least possibility of any sort of mishap and the girls are safe.

Moreover they feel that "As citizens it is our responsibility to make sure that we try and bring about a change at an individual level. We cannot just sit at home and complain."

Being directed by Zoya Akhtar, 'Dil Dhadakne Do' stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah.
