Ekta Kapoor to sign Katrina Kaif for a psychological thriller

If sources are to be believed then Ekta Kapoor will be producing a project, a psychological thriller that will have Katrina Kaif in lead. Interestingly Kahaani` famed helmer Sujoy Ghosh will be directing this film - which in fact is an adaptation of the Japanese bestseller, The Devotion Of Suspect X` written by Keigo Higashino.

According to a source, the story revolves around the cover-up of a murder and how the victim`s wife and daughter get pulled into it. The makers had sent the novel to Katrina, who found it exciting; given the fact, it is something that she has never done before.

While the script is being readied as of now, an insider from the production house clarified they have not yet finalised the cast.

Meanwhile, Sujoy Ghosh is still searching for the leading lady for his next project Durga Rani Singh` - which has been rejected by Kangana Ranaut.
