YRF’s upcoming next film, 'Gunday' will have a 60 second montage for the ace director, Yash Chopra in the beginning. We were told that it was the director Ali Abbas Zafar’s idea to have this included before his film as his tribute to the legendary director and mentor for most, Yash Chopra.

The script of 'Gunday' is very special for the entire team of the film especially director Ali Abbas Zafar for various reasons.

'Gunday' was the last script Yash Chopra had heard and he also gave his inputs and suggestions to the director. He had told Ali to shoot the coal mine scenes at the actual location and not recreate it here, which was also his dream during Kaala Pathar.

This is the last film that has any connect to Yash Chopra and so Ali and the team decided to have this special montage in the beginning of the film.

Confirmed a source at YRF, "Yes it was Ali Abbas Zafar’s idea, he was very very keen as this was Yashji’s last script which he had heard. This was an emotional moment for Ali." The film is slated to release on 14th February 2014.
