Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Saturday urged his political followers not to allow themselves to be diverted from their path by critics.

"We are working towards the building of our party in a constructive manner. People's problems are our only concern. While we are at work, some people will resort to mudslinging for fame or in order to divert our attention or with the intention of irking us. Let's not react. Even when they make personal remarks against me or their intention is to defame me, we should conduct ourselves with dignity. It's because our vision is to herald alternative politics and a responsible political environment," he said.

"Our party has been formed to help blossom a politics devoid of casteism and communalism. Humanism is our religion. Social good is our ideology. The future of our youth, our future generations, our society, and our country is our prime focus. Given this, don't be agitated over petty criticisms. Far from helping us in any way, your reactions may harm the party. Please bear in mind that the party is taking note of all the mudslinging thrown at us. The party will respond appropriately in future. Till then, your focus should be human welfare. Jai Hind," he said.
