Amala Paul made a great impact in Prabhu Solomon`s Mynaa` but it was director Vijay who cast her opposite Chiyaan Vikram in Deiva Thirumagal` and Illayathalapathy Vijay in Thalaivaa` catapulting her into the big league. The duo went on to date for three years and tied the knot in 2014.
A shocking news coming in suggests that all is not well between Amala and Vijay for the past year or so and things have snowballed to such an extent that they have decided to head for divorce in a few days time. Considered to be a cute couple in the industry the failing of their marriage within two years is creating a sensation amongst the industry people. Amala meanwhile is on a signing spree starring in the Vada Chennai` trilogy with Dhanush , Hebbuli` with Sudeep in Kannada and a couple of Malayalam projects.
