Superstar Rajinikanth's 161st film with his 'Kabali' director Pa.Ranjith is all set to go on floors in the last week of May.The Superstar's son-in-law Dhanush is producing this project under the Wunderbar Films banner.

The heroine of this most anticipated project ever since its announcement in August 2016 is yet to be finalised. Top heroines of the nation such as Nayanthara and Vidya Balan were rumoured in the past to have bagged the precious opportunity to play the lead lady in this film.

But now sources reveal that Bollywood actress Huma Quereshi will play the female lead opposite Rajinikanth in 'Thalaivar 161'. If this is true. this will be the Kollywood debut of Huma whose list of Bollywood films include Anurag Kashyaps 'Gangs of Wasseypur 1 & 2", 'Trishna', 'Badlapur' and 'Jolly LLB 2'.

It is to be noted that 'Kabali' had another Bollywood and Pan-Indian actress Radhika Apt as the female lead.

We will have to wait for an official confirmation about Humar Quereshi's inclusion in 'Thalaivar 161'.
