According to a leading media house it was known that, dimpled beauty Deepika has been signed to play the lead in Gustakhiyan`. This film revolves around the lives of legendary lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi and literature giant Amrita Pritam. Seems like, both the stars Deepika and Irrfan have a meaty role to play in.

The movie will be produced by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it will retell the silent love story of Sahir and Amrita on the silver screen. Looks like, their subtle romance and the funny altercations was much loved and appreciated by all in Piku`. So fans you will soon see them again.
