J K Ritheesh clears the air

Actor-MP J K Ritheesh has denied reports that he would play an important role in a film titled ‘Thalamilla Ragam’, directed by ‘lyric writer’ Yosi.

“At this point of time I am busy with Kalaignar Karunanidhi's ‘Pen Singam’. I play a lawyer in the movie, whose shooting is going on in a fast pace. So there is no truth in reports which claimed that I am acting in ‘Thalamilla Ragam’,” he said.

Yosi, who worked in worked in ‘James Bond, Guruvamma, Nayagan, Kadhalum Kattru Mara and Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’, claimed a few weeks ago that his debut directorial venture would feature newcomers in lead roles besides a powerful role by Ritheesh.

Talking about the movie, he said, “The very storyline is so unique that revolves around four youngsters embarking a journey for abroad. They’re heading to Chennai airport from Srirangam and the vivifying journey is filled with faith, spirituality, charity, love and lots of revolutionary theme.”

Yosi himself has penned story, screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics and scores the music apart from wielding the megaphone. As the title suggests none of the songs in this album will have beats and rhythmic accompaniments, he said.
