It was quite a magical movie moment to watch John Abraham lift a 150 kg bike in 2011's action thriller 'Force'. News is that John is now to take his onscreen daredevilry up a notch for the sequel by lifting a Mercedes-Benz weighing over 1580 kg in Vipul Amrutlal Shah's 'Force 2'.

The film generated immense buzz on its announcements, with fans of the franchise anticipating the release of the sequel. John lifting the bike, became the USP of the film and director Abhinay Deo is to now double the force in Force 2 by delivering the audience with a visual which will be etched in their memory forever.

"When John lifted the bike, it became a talking point even though many claimed that it was a tweaked shot carried out with trick photography. But he proved all of the sceptics wrong by lifting the bike at a press conference during the film's promotions. When we were discussing Force 2, John himself came up with the idea of lifting a car, as the plan was to make the sequel bigger and better than the original," informed Vipul Amrutlal Shah.

"Obviously, one can't lift a car completely on their own. But John worked extremely hard on the sequence. Most people can't even do one-tenth of what John has done in this film. Also, director Abhinay Deo has executed the sequence well," adds Vipul.

It wasn't easy for John to shoot the power packed sequence amidst nursing a knee injury. John who busted his knee while shooting for the film in Romania last year and subsequently underwent three corrective surgeries, shot for the Mercedes sequence earlier this month in Mumbai.

"He began prepping up by working out in the gym for six-seven hours every day and keeping a close watch on his diet four-five months before we began shooting. However, it was tricky as he hadn't been able to go to the gym after the accident and so he had to start gaining weight from scratch. He has done a commendable job," Vipul exclaimed.

Director Abhinay Deo is leaving no stone unturned to deliver high octane action film with 'Force 2'. Presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in association with Sunshine Pictures Pvt.Ltd. and JA Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film releases on 18 November, 2016.
