Last month, Kamal Haasan's elder brother and personal mentor Chandra Haasan passed away. That was a sever blow to the multi-talented legend as elder Haasan was not only his brother but also a friend. philosopher, mentor and the one who was in charge of the production company Raj Kamal Films International.

This week, Kamal has lost another "elder brother" with the passing away of noted cinematographer and director N.K.Vishwanath. The 62 year old actor visited in person to pay his last respects to the departed soul. After that he revealed that Vishwanath was like an elder brother to him.

"Vishwanath is a great cinematographer, director, producer and you can call him with many ways. For me he is like a elder brother. Me, RC Sakthi and Viswanath united like the members of a family reuniting after a long gap. Our friendship strengthened during 'Sattam En Kayyil.'. After that, Viswanath and I have worked together in many films and we have also directed a film together. Our marvellous friendship grew beyond the barriers of film business. He was a great technician. Many of his former assistants are making wonders in the film industry today. That proves his greatness. I will be proud forever that I have worked with him and I convey my condolences to his bereaved family members."
