Let us take you to the ‘3 Idiots’ days when along with Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor had promoted the weavers of Chanderi in a big way alongside their film. There, Bebo had been touched by the plight of the weavers who used to work by the candle light due to the absence of electricity in their village.

Refreshing those memories, Kareena took on a mission to help them out. The actress said to have donated Rs 3 lakh to build a solar energy plant. Sources believed that the plant will supply the electricity to the villagers within two months.

Besides this the beauty is said to be planning to get help from her industry friends, to join her in the mission. Kareena is determined to help out several of those villages which are electricity deprived.
