The shooting of Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja` directed by Prabhu Deva and starring Karthi, Vishal and Sayyeeshaa in lead roles started with much fanfare at the beginning of this month. The proceedings came to an abrupt stop after three or four days and information came from the production side that Karthi and Vishal will complete Dheeran Adigaram Ondru` and Thupparivalan` respectively and then resume work.

The latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Prabhu Deva has decided to drop Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja` and wants to do a single hero subject with either of the stars in the lead. The film is a significant one not only for the two major leading men acting together but also because they had announced that their remunerations from this one to the tune of 10 Crores will go to the Nadigar Sangam Building fund. We will have to wait for official confirmation regarding the changes to the project.
