Karthi's 'Madras' Release date

The last two Friday`s of July was supposed to be busy weeks for Kollywood with quite a number of prominent films lined up. One amongst them was Karthi`s “Madras” which is directed by Attakathi fame Pa.Ranjith. The makers have now pushed the original release date of July 25 to a later date as confirmed by sources.

When asked about the delay, the makers revealed that the delay is to give ample space to fulfil the censor formalities. As of now the August 29 has been confirmed as the release date. Madras has Karthi and Catherine Teresa in the lead roles and is touted to revolve around the hero who is predominantly from North Madras.
