Director Karu Palaniappan, known to have made popular films Parthiban Kanavu and Pirivom Santhipom, is busy working again and will be taking up the remake of Malayalam film Ordinary as his next project, titled Jannal Oram. The director recently confirmed on the news and also announced it's lead actors.

Ordinary is one of 2012’s biggest hits in Malayalam. The comedy drama directed by Sugeeth featured Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon, Asif Ali and Ann Augustine and was appreciated by everyone. Now, Karu Palaniappan, after failing with an attempt to become a hero in Mandhira Punnagai, is taking the safe road instead with a remake. Vimal, Vidharth, Monisha and Poorna have been confirmed to play the lead roles, while actor Parthiban is also playing a role.
