Kavya Madhavan bail plea unnecessary - Kerala High Court

In the actress abduction and sexual assault case, Mollywood superstar Dileep is in jail for close to three months and he has been denied bail as the court feels he could disrupt the investigation.  

Dileep's wife Kavya Madhavan applied for anticipatory bail stating that the police and a few powerful people in the industry wanted to completely spoil her life by implicating her in the case.  When the petition came up for hearing the Kerala HIgh Court dismissed the petition stating that the prosecution had no plans to arrest her and had given an undertaking to that effect.
