Acclaimed actor Kishore and Yagna Shetty will be seen in the leads roles in the upcoming rural film 'Kalathur Gramam', and as admitted by the film's makers, maestro Ilaiyaraja's music score is the main highlight of the film.

"What the first thing that strikes your mind when you think about a village? Definitely it would be Raja sir`s music. I too had the same strike when I started writing my script. Raja sir has accepted to be a part of our film, only after he was impressed by the script. He has composed the background score and two songs for our film, and we are very confident that his music will give life to the entire 'Kalathur Gramam'. Our film is an editorial script and hence it needed professional hands for the cuts. I must thank my editor Suresh Urs sir for his extended support throughout the film. " says the film's director Saran K.Advaithan.

'Kalathur Gramam' is a period flick set in 1980s and the main plot is about a dispute between the police and people of the village. Kishore will be seen in an young and old getups.

The film has been produced by Avudaithai Ramamoorthy under the banner A.R. Movie Paradise,

Sulile Kumar, Mithun Kumar, Rajini Mahadevaiya, Ajay Rathnam are the artists playing the other crucial roles in the film. 'Kalathur Gramam' is also well backed up by a bunch of talented technicians that includes Cinematographer Pushparaj Santhosh, Editor Suresh Urs, Lyricsts Isaignani Ilayaraja- Kanmani Subhu, Stunt Masters Mahesh and Om Prakash.

" Set in a backdrop of 1980s, our 'Kalathur Gramam' will definitely win the hearts of Audience" Advaithan says in a confident tone.
