The two current projects Lakshmi Menon is working on is "Kuttipuli" with Sasikumar and "Manja Pai" with Vimal. When asked about her plans in the field after her immediate debut success, the young actress had quite a lot to say.

She had come to Chennai to be a good actress and with her releases like "Kumki" and "Sundarapandian", she has gotten what she wanted. Her next goal is to become a top heroine it seems. She has been getting a lot of offers for future films lately but she hasn't taken it up because the actress also has qualms about acting with the top heroes of the day as she would have to opt for glamour roles and intimate scenes with them. She also says that in cinema it's not quantity of films that matter but it is the quality of films that do.
