It looks like director Linguswamy, who is noted for his fast-paced films, will soon be directing a Bollywood flick. There were reports, more than a couple of years back, that Lingu will be remaking his 'Sandakozhi' in Hindi but that never seemed to materialize. But now there are reports from very reliable sources in the industry that his super successful Tamil film 'Paiyaa' will be remade in Bollywood and it will be Linguswamy, who will be calling the shoots for the Hindi version too.

If all goes well this will be the director's debut project in Bollywood!

'Paiyaa' that had Karthi and Tamannah in the lead was a huge success in the South. The road-bound story, the concept of which is universal according to its director, will be a hit in the Bollywood circles too reveal sources.

While earlier it was reported that Suriya will be cast in the lead role in the Bollywood remake, the director rubbished these as rumours. He is also reported to have revealed that he is in talks with a big production company in Bollywood regarding the remake.

Linguswamy will be giving his best shot in Hindi, but only after he completes his current Tamil film 'Vettai' which sees R Madhavan, Sameera Reddy, Arya, and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Lingu's 'Run' with Maddy and Meera Jasmine was a huge hit. There is a lot of expectation running high for this multi-starrer, which is taking shape at a fast pace.
