The new release date of the much expected multi-starrer 'Vikram Vedha' starring Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan in lead roles has been officially announced. The film's producer Sashikanth of 'Y Not Studio' banner has confirmed that 'Vikram Vedha' will be hitting the screens on July 21, 2017.

The film directed by Pushkar-Gayathri was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on July 7th. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi took part in myriad promotional activities ahead of the film's scheduled release which had to be postponed due to the theater owners strike between July 3 and July 6.

'Vikram Vedha' also stars Kathir, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Shraddha Srinath in important roles. Sam C.S. has provided the music score for this film in which Vijay Sethupathi plays an aged gangster while Madhavan will be seen as a police officer.
