Actor Vishal, being the General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam, was also a member of the Tamil Film Producers Council, before he was suspended allegedly for making abusive comments about the Council.

Vishal had approached the Madras High Court against the Suspension. The Producers Council's advocate had earlier said that they would consider revoking the suspension if Vishal apologises for his comment. Vishal filed his apology in the Court through his counsel on the next day itself. However the Producers' body is apparently not convinced enough and they have not added Vishal as a member again.

Vishal again sought legal recourse by appealing in the High Court. Today the honourable Court has passed an order in favour of the actor.

The High Court Judge hearing the case has asked the Producers Council to cancel Vishal's suspension and has urged them to induct the actor-producer again into the Council as soon as tomorrow, failing which the Court will have to pass orders to the same effect.

So it is clear victory for Vishal in this case.
