Popular Tollywood star Mahesh Babu was in Chennai to promote Selvanthan` the Tamil dubbed version of his upcoming Telugu film Srimanthudu` that will be hitting worldwide screens next week.

Mahesh Babu while speaking at the promotional event said "I have been a Kamal Haasan fan right from my childhood and I have never thought even in dreams that one day I will pair up with the legends daughter. There are so many good scenes between me and Shruthi in this film. This was because we had the same mindset while shooting for this film. Shruthi is a thorough professional like his father and dances really well. I am very happy that I have acted with her"

Shruthi who has acted as lead heroine opposite the Prince` in this film while her turn said "Mahesh Babu is a calm person and never indulges in loose chat. He will always be thinking about how to give his best for the character. I was a challenge to work with him."

Srimanthudu` aka Selvanthan` has been directed by Korattala Siva and produced by Mahesh Babu under his own banner. Music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
