Mamta Mohandas made a dream entry into Tollywood opposite NTR. She had the glamour, the talent and every other thing to make it to the top. But destiny had other plans and she was not to be seen for some time.
Later she merged as a play back singer and won a few coveted awards for her singing including Filmfare Awards. She is a regular under Devi Sri Prasad. After accomplishing in singing Mamta is again taking her acting career seriously.
Her recent Malayalam film ÂAnwar is sure to make her busy again. She plays a Muslim girl opposite Prithviraj. The role is powerful and posters of ÂAnwar has generated good buzz. Ameer who saw Mamta on the posters of ÂAnwar was impressed and immediately sent a word to Mamta asking if she would be interested in doing a role his ÂAdhibagavanÂ. Who would refuse a film by Ameer? Mamta is playing a NRI role which is instrumental to the turning points in the film.
