After two weeks of intense speculation with the trade abuzz about the final figures of Mangal Pandey - The Rising from its first week, the verdict is out with an official advertisement in the leading newspaper 'The Times Of India'.

In addition to the snippets from the glowing reviews the movie has got from the international press, the quarter page ad says:

- First week collections break all Previous Records in the History of Indian cinema - Record-breaking net box office collections of close to Rs. 19 crores over the first week across India - Worldwide opening weekend Box Office over $2 million - All records broken with 1000 screens worldwide - 600 screens in India and 400 screens across the world

With an official statement out, it should finally set all the doubts of Mangal Pandey on road to be a huge blockbuster to rest !
